The external DAC connected via USB port work is fine when connected.

but when ipad goes to sleep and then wakes up it does not detect the external dac

switching off on the dac does not help

need to first discobnnect and connect the usb cable from ipad and the need to switch off on the dac

is this a problem with iPad Pro 12.9 usb pro or only me facing this issues

even output set to airplay streamer goes to default back to ipad speakers when ipad wakes up?

i have M1 mac and M1 ipad

What External DAC are you using dmps, my Fiio K1 USB DAC works all the time on my Ipad Air 4, even when the ipad goes to sleep. I am on IOS 14.8, so maybe this could be an issue with IOS 15?
