Hi, I have just installed a Mac Mini M2 and moved my user folder to an external RAID 0 (hardware RAID) after using Windows for the last few years. Anyway I am noticing a lot of disk thrashing on the drive set where my user folder is located and it concerns me. It has been in operation for several days now so any backup or initial setup should be completed by now; Time Machine is enabled but not active when I notice the high disk activity. Is this to be expected of this configuration or should I be worried? It seems like it would shorten the disk life considerably.
