Does anyone know if it is possible to run a SR MBP on a monitor that is connected via kvm. Whenever I try it, my MBP freezes and I have to do a hard reset which can get really annoying and still doesnt fix the problem. On the monitor when I plug it in, the light turns green but nothing on the screen. If I don't have the monitor plugged into the kvm and do it direct, it works perfectly. Any thoughts? Thanks in advanced.

Yeah, I am planning the same thing and was looking at that KVM switch.

I have a macbook hooked up to a 22 inch LCD with the Logitech S530 wireless mouse and keyboard. I want to share the monitor, mouse and keyboard with my IBM Thinkpad hooked into a docking station. The docking station has DVI. My only questions are

1. The USB dongle for the Logitech mouse and keyboard, can I just plug that into one of the front panel USB ports.

2. If I run a USB cable from the back of the KVM, on port 2 let's say to a USB port on the docking station of the think pad. Will that enable the mouse and keyboard to work on the Thinkpad via that USB cable.

Thanks!

Very sorry for the late reply.

The two plugs in front of the KVM switch are for your mouse and keyboard. Both your Mac and your thinkpad will connect to the rear of the KVM switch through the DVI/VGA port, USB port and audio. Hooked up this way, you should be able to use one keyboard and mouse for both laptops.
