Hi

I have a 2020 Macbook Pro

It has two additional external displays connected to it with the macbook sitting in the middle

However a slighly irritating quirk of this arrangement is that if i have the mouse at the bottom of the other two screens for any length of time the dock then moves over to that screen. I would much rather if it stayed fixed in the middle screen, ie on my macbooks screen.

I did try the displays have separate spaces, but then the menu bar at the top seemed only to display at the top of the middle screen, i like having it display at the top of each screen because they each may have a separate program running in them.

This is normal behavior for each of the two modes you've tried. I'm not aware of a way to fix the Dock to just one specific display yet have "separate spaces" turned on.
