I have a 2014 and 2019 macbook pro and a feature that seems to have gone missing (apple seem to have no idea about when I talk to them) is when an external display is connected to the macbook pro 2014 the external screen and macbook screen can slide desktops independently of each other. With the 2019 Macbook pro the screens (desktops) only move together which is frustrating. I am surprised i cannot find this issue here and that apple have no idea! Any suggestions or help is welcomed.
