Hey guys I have been using an external drive that will no longer mount onto my macbook. I have some files that I would like to recover on it, is there anyway to repair this? When I try to repair it using the disk doctor it will say somesort of error has occured and stop the repair.

Go to spotlight and search for Disk Utility and open it. Then select the external hard drive and go to repair disk. See if that works and gets the drive to mount.
