I've done several searches and can't find anything on this so here it goes.

I have a Mac Mini Core duo 1.66Ghz, 512 Ram (yuk i know), 23" ACD and am using the Firewall ports on the ACD. The external Drives are both Maxtor 300GB FW 800 drives. Now when I put the Mini to sleep, the drives will actually wake up and spin:confused: And will not spin down on their own. The drives work and sleep just fine on my old G4 800 Mac.

Has anybody else run into this? Im all but convinced that this is an Intel OS X issue.

It doesnt sound like a common OS issue!?

Has anyone run into anything like this? I've searched and tried a few test between my G4 and Mac Mini (intel) and can't come up with any difference in configuration that would cause this. Just wondering if Im all alone on this one.
