Hello guys.

I have a doubt. All times that I connect a monitor external on the macbook pro model 2019 with a external GPU, I observer that the processors elevate the temperature and on top of the touchbar it gets very hot in such a way that it bothers the use when typing.

I understand that this problem occurs when the macbook automatically switches to use the external 8GB GPU.

I would like to know if this happens to you too.

I took the computer to the authorized Apple, but engineers collected data and reported that everything is fine. Such heating is foreseen. But I don't consider it normal, and I think that some components or other internal parts can break, burn and suffer from this heating.

Screenshot you showed shows normal temperature under low to moderate use. It’s expected for the keyboard and Touch Bar to be warm to touch. The chassis temperature should be around 35-40 degrees.
