There are two Mac Minis in our company. I have MacFuse, NTFS-3G, and NTFS for Mac! I had disabled them all, and using this command: "sudo systemsetup -setkernelbootarchitecture i386" I made my My Passport both readable and writable, and I had no issues with that. A few days ago I plugged in my external hard disk, and it didn't show up on desktop. Checking in the disk utility, I see the hard disk in the left pane, but 'verify'ing and 'repair'ing and 'mount'ing the disk, I can't get it mounted. How can I fix this issue?

The hard disk appears well-mounted on the other mac mini.

Messing around with the mentioned apps, the issue got solved!
