iPad External hard drives?

Now that the iPad uses USB C, is it possible to connect external hard drives to save files?

Thank you, just saw a review and the guy said the same. That sucks, as bigger HD models are way over priced.

I’m really bummed about this - saw an article somewhere saying the potential for external storage was a real possibility. Ah well.

Yeah me too, but of course Apple wants to profit off bigger HDs in them.
