External hardrive / ram advice

Hi, I just got my new macbook pro a few days ago, partitioned 10gb to windoze, and am in the market for an external hardrive...anyone have any suggestions? The smaller/more capacity the better. Also, any ideas on 1 gig of ram? What's my best bet....? Thanks..

LaCie makes the best external drives. Just search LaCie in the online Apple Store and find the one you want. You can probably get it cheaper somewhere other than from Apple.

Make sure you don't only look at the capacity, you're going to want to look at how fast it spins and how fast it transfers data as well.

I ordered mine from macmall a few days ago. Should be in tuesday.

I posted a thread on here and was told this is a good external hard drive.
