Can anyone please suggest a good external hard drive for a MacBook Pro for video editing purposes.

Cheers

I've been looking at the Western Digital MyBook Pro 500GB hard drive. That is one hot hard drive... I like it because it's white, really. You can pick up the black version (without FireWire 800 if you're using a 15" MBP) for quite a bit cheaper.

Also you could pick up what looks to be a significantly larger encloser... but in the aluminum finish to compliment your MBP:

Fantom Drives G-Force MegaDisk

They're both pretty attractive enclosures if that matters to you :] If not, just buy a drive and an enclosure from CompUSA or something.
