I have a 750gb external hd formatted to NTSF. I already have a lot of data on it and when I am in OSX I can see the files and copy them. But I can't write to the hd. Is it because it is NTSF? What should I do? I have bootcamp installed and Vista. I want to be able to access and write to the hd in Vista and OSX, is this possible?

OSX cannot write to NTFS drives. Only solution I can think of is if you have VMWare or Parallels running in OSX and they should be able to write to it.

OS X does not natively support writing to NTFS, just reading.

There are third-party packages (free and paid) that will allow you to write to NTFS. A search of the "Windows on the Mac" forum should come up with plenty.
