NTFS is read-only natively in macOS/OS X. That's what Paragon is for, to allow write access. So if it won't let you write, that's something in the Paragon config. I don't use Paragon so can't help there.

So i updated to mac os sierra. and i use an external hard drive. looks like i have to update to the latest paragon ntfs download. but it looks like this one cost money. the same thing with tuxera. 10-15 day trial. why is that anyways. it used to be free.

Last time I updated, I could use my original product code from when I first purchased Tuxera. I don't ever remember either one being completely free, but updates were free. But, I've not needed it for the last couple years so uninstalled it.
