First, erase (I recommend Mac OS extended with journaling enabled, GUID partition format, also known as HFS+) Then, go to the partition pane and set up your partitions as desired. That was easy. LOL New, $23, 500g SATA HDD from Amazon runs fine. Will back up 6 old machines. Thank you.
