I am migrating from an old Mac Pro to a Mac Studio and need an external enclosure for my old SATA drives that used to live inside the Mac Pro. I was just about to order a Sabrent USB 3.1 gen 2 4-bay enclosure (due to recommendations in another thread) when I read some random comments around the internet from people who claim to have had issues with data corruption with this and other similar enclosures.

My data is very important to me and I am slightly paranoid about this. Is data corruption a common problem with enclosures like that? Should I avoid USB enclosures?
