Ah another Melbourne user looking for a external drive. I just recently brought a external drive for my PB 15". I was looking for something faster but affordable.. so I went with this. I brought a "Ice Cube Generation 2" external drive, and I'm just going to put whatever drive I want in there. It's cheaper.

Internal will be faster, but sometimes External is just easier. G5.. I'm assuming it was Firewire 800.. check out this external drive:

Pleiades 800+

That's the one I got. I got it off eBay.. the seller is selling another one.. here's the link: http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=8784796792

Enjoy!
