External Keyboard not working with MacBook Pro M4 Max

I have a nice Corsair Strafe keyboard that works perfectly with my Mac Studio.

However, on my new MacBook Pro the keyboard works on the login screen but once I login the keyboard is unresponsive. I have installed the icue software.

I have tried multiple cables
I have tried connecting it directly and via a usb hub

I am currently updating the OS to the 15.2 beta to see if that might help.

I think I may have found the culprit. If I remove SteerMouse things work, even better I see now that SteerMouse had an entry for the keyboard and I have now turned that off. Working at the moment.
