What do you mean by “run the Windows laptop on an iMac ”? Do you mean “can I mirror the display of the laptop on the iMac”? The answer would still be “No” but we would have a much better idea of what we were saying No to.

The iMac is WAY too narrow.
It would be like a snail walking on the edge of a straight razor - and surviving.
