Hi folks

First of all, if im posting in wrong forum, i apologize.

I have 2012 rMPB (running Mountain Lion) which works perfectly and i am connecting it to my 22" Benq monitor via MiniDisplayPort to VGA connector (monitor only has VGA).
Image on the external monitor is pretty bad, it looks blurry, not sharp enough and brightness is very low.I tried calibrating it, no luck.

I understand that Apple has something called font smoothing, but the issue isnt happening only with fonts (text). When i mirror the displays, dock icons looks blurry and not sharp as well.

Monitor is working properly (tested on Win laptop) and resolution is set to native FullHD so i dont know what could be the problem...
Any suggestions?
