I tried to search for this specific problem but i couldn't find anything.

So I have my macbook pro hooked up to my... dell lcd. Now I'm trying to set it up so I can run InDesign on the external and Photoshop on the macbook pro's display. Problem is I can't get the Indesign menus to move left onto the dell display. I can get the workspace window over, the tools menu on top over but no luck with the left toolbar and the right one, they refuse to budge. Is there an easier way? Seems like in cs2 I was able to move everything over except the File, Edit, etc stuff.

As for front row, it'd be nice if i could have it run on my external while I "work" on my mbps display. The only thing I'm able to do now is run front row on the mbp display and the external goes black...yay.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I don't have any experience running an external display off an apple laptop.
