Hi all, quick question regarding how IPP works with external monitors. I have a 4k monitor connected, but notice that for the most part, the mirrored displays at 1080. When I play a movie, the screen does fill up and go to 4k. Is this normal? When not watching movies on the monitor, will the resolution always be at 1080, ie when browsing, youtube, MS office, etc?
I typically watch movies on my TV and don’t really need it for my ipad. Is there any benefit to keeping a 4k monitor? Thinking ahead to potential changes in ipados 14, any chance to extending desktop or at least outputting at full resolutions to take advantage of a 4k screen in general besides watching movies?
