I got a Gateway 22" Widescreen for Christmas and when I run my MBP closed with the Gateway as the only monitor and the MBP shuts off the monitor or goes to sleep, it takes a minute after waking the computer up/waking up the monitor before the picture displays. Is there something I can change on my MBP to fix this?

Yeah, it's a bit of a slow waker for me too. MBP + 30" ACD here. Don't really know if anything can be done.

hey there, i have exact same setup. mbp + 22" gateway. this is normal because if you have your using only your mbp and its asleep with the monitor open it will also take a few seconds for the monitor start working. Likewise the same situation if it is closed and connected to an external monitor. A minute though, no maybe a few seconds. I figure you were just exagerating on that part.

By the way, how do you like the gateway monitor?
