Mac pro 4,1/5,1 with AMD Sapphire rx590 - I want to use an external power supply to power the AMD card whilst it is still in the PCIE slot and receiving power from the Mac through the PCIE slot.

On the external power supply 24 pin connector what pins should I bridge, to enable the external power supply to work?

Are there any graphics or photos of this?

I believe that the pins are #16 and any ground, but I don't know which is which, on the connector as all the wires black. Are there any diagrammnes or photos someone could point me to?

Cheers

Belay that, I found a pretty pic.

Though I could still use confirmation that #16 and any ground are the correct pins :)
