This has probably been answered before but I don't see anything....

I have an external SSD named "Rocket." It's 2 TB M2, etc. Very Fast.

I trashed some stuff from it, but I guess it didn't take because it still says there is a lot less free space than there actually is.

Don't believe me? I made this nifty image! Plus I hid file names (mostly because they're embarrassingly boring like "Documents backup" and stuff).

How do I fix this?

Did you "empty trash?" In Macs, trash is not "gone" until you empty trash. Plug Rocket in, "empty trash" and check again.

If you did empty it, perhaps move the remaining files to another drive and reformat Rocket, then move the files back again. This "last resort" is highly likely to reclaim all free space.
