I just bought a crucial xtreme x9 pro 1tb and I have had no issue until I updated my macbook and ever since I can not see my drive on finder nor the desktop. The only thing that has changed since then is the update on the macbook air. I have an m2 24 gb 512gb sdd if it makes any differance. Any solutions?
My old pny 480 ssd still works.....

You are not the only one with some problems since 14.4
Verify that the disk is accessible from another PC, then patiently await 14.4.1 ......
Like we all do.

I tested on my 2 14.4 systems, although not with SSD, but still with 2 Seagate drives 1Tb and 2Tb.
Those seemed to work flawlessly.
The difference might be the type of disk, then again, over the years I found
that no 2 computers are the same or react to the software the same way.
For instance, JAVA failed me 2 times on my desktop, no problem seen on my laptop ...
... but my desktop is M1, the laptop is M2 .....

We both must be patient; they are surely working on it.

I've had problems with my external disks showing no content now and again. It didn't start with 14.4. My solution has always been to reboot my computer. I would say it happens every few weeks.
