External SSD Write Speed issue?

I have an external SSD (Glyph Atom Pro).
Using BlackMagic Disk Speed Test, I noted the below......connected via a TB3 cable (have tried TB4 also).....

2019 MacBook Pro 16" (i9)
Read 2300MB/s
Write 2300MB/s

2021 MacBook Pro 16" (M1 Max)
Read 2300MB/s
Write 1200MB/s

2022 MacBook Air (M2)
Read 2300MB/s
Write 560MB/s

I'm using the same cable, same software, same OS (latest version of Monterey) throughout all tests.
I've even tried multiple different external SSD drives and seem to get the same results either way - external SSD write speeds seem to take a drastic hit.

Is this a known issue?
