Here
I bought a SATA to eSATA converter plate for external storage to take the place of using a FW800 drive. I did it for two reasons; first the speed eSATA is just faster in both benchmarks and real terms, second it frees up my FW800 port for networking. Then a few days ago I stumble on a USB 3 card for not too much money. I could pop out the eSATA and put the USB 3 in it's place. What says MR?

I probably should have said this at the beginning..

I have a 4 port SATA 2 RAID card, with only two used, thats where I had planned to get the extra SATA ports from.
