External TV Sound

Hi,

I have a Macbook and I want to connect it to an external TV (32"). I have succeeded in doing this using a DVI connector cable running from the TV to the Macbook. Is there anyway I can use the TV speakers as opposed to the sound from the Macbook? I want to watch movies but I only get sound from the laptop, and not the TV.

Assuming your TV has audio in (RCA jacks, 3.5 mm, optical) you should just be able to hook that up to the headphone/line-out jack on your MB with the appropiate cable.
