External USB modem for dial up?

I'm trying to get an imac connected via dialup. Is the Apple usb modem still compatible with the latest imacs? Apple doesn't even sell them anymore, so where could I even get one? Or does anyone have a different modem they can recommend? Thanks

I'm in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. There's a computer shop here that sells the following 2 USB modems:

StarTech External USB Modem

and

USRobotics 5637 USB Modem

Don't know about the StarTech one, but according to USRobotics,

USR 5637 Product Page

it should work fine on OS X.

I might pick one up and try it out. I still use my old G4/867 for the odd fax.

The StarTech is a SoftModem according to System Profiler, as per:

The USRobotics one is guaranteed to work. I googled and found the Zoom 3095 may work fine for you as well.
