Hey everyone, long time lurker but first post.

I have a 12” Macbook 2015 and whilst I love it, the webcam is really poor, particularly in low light. I use a webcam for at least an hour on most days so it’s quite important for me.

The only webcam I know that supports USB-C is the Logitech Brio which is great but quite expensive.

What’s the best way to solve this problem... would a USB C to USB A dongle and normal USB webcam work and has anyone tried this?

Recommendations? Solutions? :)

Great, is the C920 still the "go-to" webcam for a reasonable price-point?

The rooms I work in tend to be dark (I'm not a vampire, honest) so low-light performance is quite important!

That is the exact camera I have, fantastic camera and can easily be found for under $50.
