I have a strange issue, I'm not sure when it started but now it is always like this. I'm using a MacBook Air M1 with an LG 27UD88 monitor connected. when I close the lid of the Macbook Air the LG monitor get less bright. If I open the lid the brightness go back to the previous state.
I have checked so far:
- differente connections: the LG monitor is usually connected with Display Port thrught a Caldigit TS3 plus, I've tried connecting directly to the MacBook Air with an usb-c cable but it makes no difference
- TrueTone is disabled
- Night Shift is disabled
- Automatic brightness is disabled
I don't see any reason why the brightness should change. I don't think it's a monitor problem, it's just receiving a video signal... any ideas?
