I've been using my Mac Studio for a couple of months now after years of PC use and while I really like Mac OS, the one thing that is really driving me crazy and making me want to sell it, is the issue of always having to click on a window/open app I want to use before I can actually use it which really slows things down.
For example, I often have Photoshop/Resolve/Excel all open plus 3 or 4 finder windows and a web browser open and do a lot of copy/pasting/moving files around and switching between them all.
On my old PC, I could copy a file and then just right click on any other open window and paste it in with one click. Now it takes a minimum of two clicks (but often 3 or 4 as never sure the window is actually active) and while it sounds like a minor thing, doing this all day, every day for work is really annoying.
It is the one bit of Mac OS that seems really backwards.
Is there a way of disabling this extra click or any hacks that lets me move between open folders etc without having to click on them first to make them active?
