extra display

I have recently bought a brand new LCD tv, and I would absolutely love being able to use it as an extra display using my imac.

what plug works best to do this... my tv is compatible with:

HDMI, RGB PC, S-Video, AV1/2, and Component 1/2

when I say works best, I mean best picture quality.

an iMac to a TV and use the TV
as a monitor
cuz that would be so sick!

you definitely can, I just want to know the best way, And if I am to go for HDMI can anyone link me to something in the apple store that would do it, or anywhere else.
