Extra Wide Sports Band???

Looking for an extra wide 42mm Apple Watch band (black) that is the same thickness as the watch itself. I've only seen the leather strap ones but I'm trying to find one like the sport band in extra width.

Does such a band exist? Seen them from the Samsung S3 Gear watch but nothing for the Apple Watch.

Unfortunately not what I'm looking for, but thanks.

I want a band that is just as wide as width of the Watch itself. They have those (3rd party bands) for the Samsung Gear watches but not for the Apple Watch.

Poetic made a wider, sport-esque band for a while, though it doesn't look like it's currently available. It might be worth looking around for, though, if it's more what you had envisioned.

Yeah that's exactly what I'm looking for but if course it's not available for sale - not even on the bay.

Here is one, but I can tell you from experience there is a good chance it won't fit the slots for the band well. Many complaints in the reviews about it as well. Some get lucky, some don't. I didn't get lucky. I liked the look, but the bands wouldn't slide in my SB series 2 aluminum.

Wow, that Poetic band has a nice look to it (aside from stamping their own name in huge letters on both sides - like I want to be a billboard for them), and they had purple. From the reviews, it looks like it died because the company couldn't get their act together. Would love to see some other company step up and do a new version of the same band.

Have you considered making your own? Using an adapter and a band outsourced from another vendor?

Example: clockwork adapter + fossil silicone band
