hi, I need some help.
My wife updated to IOS 11 and one of her app died.

She needs the data so she can transfer it out and into another app.
I tried to using an older IOS 10 phone and doing a restore from icloud backup.
But all the backup are now IOS 11.

is there a software or app to extra data?

I can't even run the app in IOS11.

thanks for any help

There is no easy way to extract the data. I'm assuming this is because Apple stopped supporting 32bit apps. Did the iOS 11 updates not warn her about this?

it did, but my wife doesn't pay attention, she says it's been working for the past 3 updates... even the app warned her about it.

Big issue will be if you have an old backup for the device (pre-11) that you can extract from. Otherwise, data probably got wiped.

Have not done myself, but, hear AnyTrans can do this. Believe I've seen threads reference iExplorer. Recently downloaded iMazing, that is advertised as being able to do it (have not tried that: appears need to do a full export of the backup to navigate the files [makes sense: my backups are encrypted]).

Search the forum for subjects around "export messages" and the ilk. This topic does arise from time to time.
