Hello,

I have this ISO file I need to open somehow but the mounting utility gives me an error ("not a mountable (sp?) file system") so I was wondering what's the trick. I have a burner on my imac so I could burn it directly on a CD if I need to, what app should I use?

Thanks!

Not sure why it won't mount.

If you need to burn it, you can use Disk Utility (located in Applications > Utilities). Just select the iso on the left and hit burn.

Maybe there's something wrong with the ISO file, should I try to burn it or will I certainly waste a CD?

well if you know someone else with the same iso file (particularly a known-good copy of the iso), try comparing md5 hashes for that iso to make sure yours isnt corrupted or something.
