Check your comments in the app store. Users are complaining the app doesn't work. Also your Mar 11 post advertises the price as "on its way back up to $4.99" when today's price in the app store is $6.99.

Does this app use Apple's databases (able to sync with MobileMe) or does it use its own proprietary database?

Yes, our final price was always $6.99. But as we developed we moved it slowly up to our final price, so at that time back in March we were to the $4.99 price(and it wasn't a universal app). Prices get adjusted all the time, so advertised prices from over a month ago might not stay valid. That said, we have a new Calendar Only version of the app coming out this week, that will be at a lower price point.

It uses Apple's event databases so it will sync like the default calendar.

And I believe we have addressed the people in the comments. Most are people that wont return to change reviews even after we have fixed the product for them, and then there are a few customers(less than half a percent of total users) that are having issues because they have crazy large amounts of contacts, and we have a solution for them and have attempted to contact them all.

Thanks.

Extreme Calendar

Extreme Calendar has been released and is now on sale for over 66% off for this weekend only(May 21-22). Extreme Calendar has almost all of the main features of the Extreme Agenda calendar at a lower price. It then allows you to InApp purchase an upgrade to Extreme Agenda's full organizer features when you want to.

So give it a try! It is a great deal at its regular price and has more features than the other calendar apps out there, so yeah it can 'beat up' Calvetica and WeekCal, despite claims otherwise :) .

And its a Universal App, so you will only ever buy it once.

And its an absolute steal at 99 cents this weekend...

(and get Extreme Agenda for only 4.99 this weekend only)

Birdsoft LLC is pleased to announce the release version 3.1 of Extreme Agenda, the poweful organizer app for iPhone and iPad. Over the last 2 years we have iterated and evolved this product into one of the most advanced and powerful organizational apps on the AppStore. We hope you take a quick look and see.

This version features the choice of an all new tabbed interface for a completely new experience along with a ton of powerful new features, many requested by our great customer base. Added to the other big features introduced recently like our best in class contacts view, search, and advanced task and list features along with our robust calendar views and you will see why integration of all your organizational items has so many great benefits.

Oh yeah, and the app is universal and cheaper than its competition.

So if this is your first time seeing it, or you've tried it before... give Extreme Agenda a a try and see just what it has evolved into.

Thanks

We are pleased to announce that version 3.2 is now on the AppStore. It adds the long awaited ToodleDo sync of tasks along with a Notes view and many other new features...

Check it out today...

Thanks

When you said this worked on top of the original app, I wondered if it will really work because apple doesn't really allow other apps from interacting with each other directly.

Im not sure what you are saying, Apple gives us the code to work right with the same data that they use in their calendar and contacts Apps, and soon reminders as well..

Thinks looks like a nice app, but the reviews on the App store prevent me from dropping $8 to try it. Too bad there isn't a trial.

This is the one area where the Android app store shines.

Apple doesnt really allow trials. I wish they did, we sold XA for years that way on another platform.

And we have a ton of good reviews on the AppStore, if you only read the 1 or 2 reviews for the current version when it is a brand new update, you are usually reading remarks from people that dont get that reviews are not for technical support or people with some user error or didn't read the description of the app.

We do offer cheaper versions of the App that can be upgraded to the full version via InApp Purchase if you like it, so the risk isn't so 'big'.
