iPad mini Extreme Mac micro folio

Got the extreme Mac micro folio for 25 bucks in the mail today. It's a snap on back cover with a bifold Smart Cover. The snap case is pretty thin, the edges that hold the iPad into the case are very thin almost to thin but with the iPad installed it feels like a sturdy case. Here are a few pics

Looks very nice. Is cover magnetic for sleep/wake?

Actually, I contacted Xtrememac after I got my iPad Mini on the beginning of November. However, their product specialist could not tell me when their product would be available. I ended up with Joy Factory instead.

At first, I think about another folio case will be nice, STM Marquee have very interesting function. After I used Joy Factory Smart Suit for a while, I change my mind and I keep my money for iPad Mini Dock!!

Was just looking at the pic again and thinking how nice this case looks, but then I noticed it has the silly/pointless cut out on the back due to the leaked specs/pictures.

Yes it does have the little cut out on back, I was upset at first but after using the case and enjoying how thin it is the cutout doesn't bother me anymore. I might contact them to see if I could trade out for updated version.

Does the case have texture to it on the front of the cover? Is it cloth like?

It does have texture, it's a grippy material but I don't think it's a cloth.

Yep, I will never put a case on my iOS device with improper cut-outs, because it's supporting case makers who don't design cases to spec. I am ok waiting for cases, but if case manufacturers design based on rumors, they put out sub-par products, and it encourages Apple to not share with them, and closes them out of the ecosystem even more than they already have been.
