Extreme Mini - 2 x SSD drives possible in RAID0 ?

We've all seen the ifixit guide to replacing the DVD drive in the Mini with another 500GB hdd, and then raid them together to give 1TB storage.

Has anyone got enough money or is insane enough to get two OCZ Vertex's and do the same? I am wondering if it would make any discernible difference to a single OCZ Vertex system.

Has anyone done this?

Of course feel free to use any other brand SSD :D
