Hello,

When using the iPad Air 2020, and web pages, twitter or in apps, my eyes hurt when trying to read the text while it's scrolling or when scrolling is coming to an end and just about to stop.

Does this happen to anyone else? Are there any settings to configure the scrolling speed or display to lessen the scrolling effect on eyes?

FYI, I have Night Shift and True Tone on, and the brightness is at around 50%.

I haven't encountered this at all before, not even on notebooks, monitors or phones.

Thank you

Just to add on the method I scroll: I flick the page to scroll and then I tap to stop the scrolling. It would be awesome if there was a way to control the scrolling speed when flicking.

I just disabled True Tone and it's better than before. I think True Tone is somehow messing with the rendering of text when scrolling, causing eye strain.

You can't read the text while scrolling because it's only refreshing at 60hz. You are likely interacting with the ipad differently that you do with your other devices to suddenly notice this. It's one of the prime benefits of choosing the Pro over the Air - with 120hz you can scroll long articles slowly and consistently while you read - the text remains sharp enough.

Yeah, maybe they should sell their iPad Air and buy an iPad Pro.
