Can anyone who had eyestrain from the iphone X or Xs tell me if you have eyestrain from your pixel 3?

I picked up a Pixel 3 (non-XL) for testing. So far no eye strain but I've only had it for a day. Going to test it out for a week to see how it goes. Can anyone who had eyestrain from the iphone X or Xs tell me if you have eyestrain from your pixel 3?

First day was great, no issues at all. Second day gave me a eye strain and a bad headache so I stopped using it. I was hoping with the screen being made by LG I could tolerate it. One thing I noticed is that OLED screens have a lot of reflection/glare compared to a LCD screen so I’m wondering if that also plays into it. Unfortunately I can’t keep using a device that gives me a headache so I’m not going to test any more. Thanks and please let us know your findings.

No worries, wish I had better news. Keep in mind before purchase I spent probably 30ish minutes in a store test driving the device. Unfortunately in this case it wasn’t enough time for me. I’m definitely hoping that we see PWM free going forward, but I’m not sure if that’s a limitation of OLED or not. Thanks for the reply and what a shame. Guess next big thing in display technology is PWM free OLED.
Wow. I had hoped this problem was limited to Apple’s weird power management. I can use a S9+ OLED after all but get really sick on the iPhone OLED displays.First day was great, no issues at all. That’s what’s odd, I used a S9 for 5-10 minutes and had zero issue. So I thought that I could use OLED screens. Jumped into this phone with excitement and the second day it hit me hard. The first night was mostly using it when it was dark, the second day it was bright out and a lot of reflections/glare. So I don’t know if it’s an issue with PWM, or due to the reflections/glare. Unfortunately I didn’t want to try again as I can’t have headaches and still perform well at my job.Wow. I had hoped this problem was limited to Apple’s weird power management. I’m so sorry it did not work out for you.
Yeah I have to drive kids in a carpool. Well I don’t know if it’s really a carpool when I’m the only driver. That’s what’s odd, I used a S9 for 5-10 minutes and had zero issue. The screens in the pixel 3 XL are made by Samsung.First day was great, no issues at all. Second day gave me a eye strain and a bad headache so I stopped using it. That is correct, but the Pixel 3 (non-XL) is made by LG which is the version that I had.The screens in the pixel 3 XL are made by Samsung.
