EyeTV Hybrid vs Pinnacle TV for Mac HD

Does anyone know if there's a hardware performance difference between the EyeTV Hybrid and Pinnacle Systems TV for Mac HD stick?

I know the Pinnacle TV for Mac comes with ElGato software (albeit the lite version), so I'm more interested in hardware performance.

The Pinnacle specifically states you can use it to connect VHS/analog sources for digitizing...can the EyeTV Hybrid do this too?
