EyeTV ipad app

Has anyone been seeing stuttering and other playback issues when using the EyeTV ipad/iphone app?

I've run into this for quite a while now and haven't seen too much on the Elgato site or elsewhere about it.

What I have seen on the itunes store reviews suggests it might be widespread and (typical of elgato) longstanding since ios 6 was released and possibly before.

Playback has been quite good on the imac I have running EyeTV. I think my next experiment will be to pull the turbo 264 HD stick and see if I can narrow the problem down.

The EyeTV iOS app hasn't been updated in ages and no word from ElGato if it ever will be. I've had problems connecting to my computer's shared EyeTV, issues with playback speed and stuttering as well. I've rarely been able to get a stable connection for more than a few short minutes. The Turbo.264 stick seems to have little or no effect on the iOS app's functionality. Hopefully I'm wrong but this app seems to have been completely abandoned by ElGato.

I have the IPad app and it use to work well but since they have updated the Eyetv app it stutters a lot. I would love to see this get fixed also.
