Hi voyagerd, yes when set to 'factory settings' you can control flight perfectly and fire the weapons but there are buttons on both the stick and the throttle lever which normally would be assigned other commands ie weapons choice, radar etc. There is a free utility called 'thrustmapper' by the makers but it appears only to be for PCs, cannot find a mac version.

You could try USB overdrive. Doesn't F/A18's joystick calibration thing let you configure the buttons though?
you actually got this game to work!? i spent 3 weeks try to get it to work. they sent be a new disk, tried everything. they eventually sent me a check for the price of the game and a written apology.
when i went to select a mission nothing would show up on the list, it was blank. i still have the disk i got, but haven't tried it, just said the hell with it. F-16 falcon back in the day was BADD
and i was only 6 or 7 when i payed it.
