Actually, it's the banking app from Truist Bank. Now that I think about it, I believe I may leave it on the iPhone only, and not leave it installed
on the iPad.
Still, I'm wondering why the iPad Settings does not show an option for "other apps." The app indicates that it's looking for Face ID, but iPad Settings doesn't show the option.
I don't have an answer for that other than, technology is a love/hate relationship.
I never changed anything on my iPad. The apps that could work with face id either just showed up there or asked if I wanted to use face id. My advice to you if you want to do banking on your iPad is to just use Safari as you would on your computer. Safari on the iPad Pro gives you full desktop web pages. Most places I do business with on my iPad, I do with Safari, just like on my desktop. In most cases, the full web page is much better than an app anyway. You can put an icon for the bank website on your iPad homepage, just like an app icon, and it will open in Safari. Just go to your bank website in Safari, click on the share button(box with arrow pointing up), click add to home screen, and you have your icon shortcut to your bank website.
Edit: I use far less apps on my iPad Pro than I do on my iPhone. Pretty much the only apps I use are photo editing, Office 365, and other programs like I would use on my desktop computer. I see apps for everything as needed on the iPhone, but not so much on the iPad Pro. I use my iPad Pro pretty much as I would my Mac Mini or a MacBook Pro..
Most of the icons are shortcuts in Safari
