iPhone X Face ID logo/animation appears when visiting MacRumors

I have noticed that the Face ID authentication animation appears sometimes when I visit MacRumors website from my iPhone X. I wasn't logged in to MacRumors when this happened. Any ideas on whats going on? Do websites have the capability to use Face ID through Safari?

I don't know what you meant by the automatic login. However, I have added MR logins to the iCloud Keychain.

That's what I meant. Perhaps it is authenticating everytime you visit the forums.

It basically fills out the username and password box if your not logged in.... thats why you are seeing that.

It’s autofill for keychain.. As melman101 stated, perfectly normal. If it bugs you, you can disable the feature.
