Since 11.4 I’ve had this issue where I go to auto fill login details on a couple of websites and Face ID is successful, but the login details do not load until the second try. Anyone else having this issue?

Sometimes I have it when it detects but doesn’t auto fill if I go through the username box. I need to click the password box instead and then it will auto fill that way.

It happens rarely though and I’m not sure if it’s website specific... can you give some examples of websites it always happens on for you?

One was a bank website, which made me wonder if it was website specific, but the other was a forum which made me think... hmm bug since updating to 11.4

Wasn't this introduced with 11.3 for security reasons to mitigate the issue with web form autofill fishing, needing to explicitely click into the form fields?

FaceID just unlocks the password keychain, but auto fill afterwards is not triggered any longer.

'Helps protect privacy by only AutoFilling usernames and passwords after selecting them in a web form field'

Still I'd love to see the old behaviour back.
Especially with FaceID it was the most convenient way ever to log in into a service, I'd even maintain a list of trusted sites manually in settings/keychain if this would be possible just to get this feature back.
