Can not decide if I should use it/enable it.

What do you all think ?

Any disadvantages ?

Absurdly useful - no disadvantage for normal usage.

It’s highly secure, but If security is a major issue (like you use a 25 character alphanumeric password to access the tablet, etc) then one may suggest otherwise.

Face ID is the best. Every second you leave it disabled, you are missing out on life.

Definitely use it. You can turn off Attention in the settings to make it even faster... but if you're scared of people breaking into your house, sneaking into your room, and making the iPad face you to unlock it while somehow not waking up from the very bright screen... you are paranoid.

How do use it on my iPhone and my iPad and it is the most convenient feature and most secure feature I’ve used so far in the face ID ecosystem

Why would one not use faceID?

Much safer as a thief could look over your shoulder while you enter a passcode.

Face ID is really good and it's gotten even faster compared to the old days (with the iPhone X).

Face ID is cool… except when the iPad is in landscape. The hand seems to ALWAYS be covering it and I get the prompt.

I usually keep it "docked" on the side rung of my couch, with the case flap on the opposite side for balance, while I sit sideways on the seat in criss cross, sort of like this:

(Note: realistically, I'm about 50% bigger than that. But for the first few days, that's how it felt like for switching from a mini to normal sized iPad.)
