Hey gang!

Like all of you I have a love/hate relationship with Facebook. The only reason I still have my account is for Marketplace.

I have not had the Facebook app on my phone for years and have been using Safari when I need to access it.

However, with all the recent changes to iOS privacy, and given Facebook’s recent investor reports, it appears to be working.

This leads me to my question. From a privacy perspective, is it safe to have the Facebook app on my phone?

Everybody knows FaceBook's business model. Only you can decide whether you're ok with it.

A lot of folks keep using it without any problems
Or without caring about the problems.

Personally I have major problems with apps like Facebook doing everything it's dark heart can muster to gleam knowledge about every last human on this planet.

But I digress...
